Polite reminder about school uniform

Please can you support us in applying the school uniform policy (full details in the Home School Agreement).

We have noticed a number of children coming to school wearing trainers that are not all black, jewellery and nail varnish. Below is a section of the uniform policy that will be useful to refer to.

We will be checking on uniforms next week and following up with calls to parents where the policy is not being followed. If you have any issues with uniform (i.e. shoes break and you are waiting to get new ones at the weekend) please inform us and we will work with you to solve the problem. 

• No jewellery – plain gold/silver stud earrings only. No loops. No bracelets or necklaces of any type. 
• Plain black school shoes or totally black trainers (includes the base). For younger children Velcro straps may be appropriate to encourage independence until they can tie laces. Sandals are not permitted even in summer.
• PE kits must be provided on PE days. Please note there will be an indoor and outdoor PE lesson each week. Please provide a suitable tracksuit for outdoor PE. Trainers must also be provided for PE.
• Watches are allowed – we encourage analogue watches to help children learn to read the time.
