Plantation Receives Shortlisting for Prestigious Award for Sport

We have been shortlisted for the prestigious Educate Awards 2017 for Outstanding Commitment to Sport. Below is a short passage from the e-mail confirming our shortlisting:

2017 has seen an unprecedented number of entries and the quality across all categories has certainly impressed our judges, making it a very tough decision-making process. Judges this year commented that the standard of entries was so high, that in some categories, you could have made a very good case for shortlisting just about every applicant. Therefore it is already an outstanding achievement to have made the shortlist!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all staff throughout the school as to be considered for such a special award as this requires everybody to work hard and be on board. Having said that, a special mention must go to Mr Sanders, our PE lead, who has been the driving force behind all the great work.

The awards ceremony will take place on Friday November 17th. Fingers crossed we will be adding a new award to our trophy cabinet. Please refer to the educate website for further information.
