Kitchen Incident

Today we had a slight incident in the kitchen regarding a piece of electrical equipment. The incident was dealt with quickly and safely by our site manager. The fire alarm was sounded and the children left the school in a very calm and sensible manner. Well done children. The fire brigade then arrived and confirmed it was safe to go back into the school. The incident has caused some disruption to our hot dinner service but all children will be receiving a dinner today. We are now awaiting a part for a repair to the appliance and dinners will continue to be provided in the meantime.
