Halewood Speed Limits

We have been informed by Knowsley’s Road Safety Team that they are proposing to reduce the speed limit on a number of roads within Halewood to 20mph.  The proposal to reduce the speed limit was advertised yesterday by the Road Safety Team (see contact details below) with a consultation period of 28 days therefore any comments need to be made by 4 October.

The proposed 20mph zones involve Hollies Road, Church Road, Wood Road and streets off these roads.

Such measures around our school can only help to ensure our children are safe as they come to and from school.  I hope you share our feelings that such traffic calming measures are a benefit to our children and visitors.
