Fidget Spinners

The latest craze seems to be here - Fidget Spinners. Please be aware that Fidget Spinners are not allowed in classrooms. Although they are marketed at reducing stress and helping concentration, they do not help children in the classroom. They stop children from watching what the teacher is modelling and cause a distraction to the child and others in the class.

If your child chooses to bring in a Fidget Spinner, they need to be stored out of the classroom and used only at break and lunchtimes. If they are misused during these periods or used in the class, your child may have the spinner taken off them or be asked not to bring them in again.
