Building and refurbishment works commence

Please be aware that our building works have commenced with the contractors delivering and dropping off temporary fencing on our school field Thursday 13th July.

The area is being sectioned off now ready for the installation of our temporary classroom buildings that will be located on the field for the next school year.

The plan is that Years 2, 4, 5 and 6 will be located in these temporary classrooms for the autumn and spring terms.  At Easter, we will move back over to the newly extended and refurbished classrooms on the school site towards the Hollies Road end of our site.

Whilst still in the planning stages, the next phase should be for the remaining classrooms at the other end of the building to be refurbished and classes relocating from there into the temporary buildings for the summer term.

It is planned that all works will be complete before September 2024 and so impact on school for no more than one school year.

Now we have contractors on site and works commencing, please be especially mindful when bringing your child in and collecting them.

These are busy but exciting times for the school and will, when finished, provide amazing facilities for all our children.
