World War Two Day in Upper Six
Date: 16th Jan 2017 @ 10:04am
Last Thursday, we all enjoyed a fantastic World War Two Day in Upper Six. To start off, we were all subject to a nit and teeth inspection before being sorted into evacuee groups (luckily, none were found!) Afterwards, we made gas masks, which would come in handy later in the day when we were dramatically forced to cut short our jive session due to the sound of sirens warning us of potential bombings. We even found time to use our ration coupons to experiene some tasty, and not so tasty, 1940s food.
A huge thank you to all our children for making the day so memorable, and for some fantastic costumes!
