NOTICE OF BUILDING WORK AND SCHOOL REDEVELOPMENT 2023-2024
Please be advised that from July 2023 to September 2024 our school is undertaking significant building work and refurbishment.
ALL SCHOOL VISITORS MUST report to Reception and ensure their identification issued at the School Office is worn at all times.
ALL CONTRACTORS MUST ensure they are signed in at their Site Office and compound, known to the Site Manager, and the relevant identification worn at all times.
PARENTS & CARERS MUST ensure children are supervised at all times when in their care and ensure they do not stray from sight.

Upper 8 - Maya Masks

In Art this week, Upper 8 designed their own Maya masks. The masks that resemble human faces are death masks, used to cover a leader’s face when he or she is buried - these masks would be carved from stone. The masks that resemble an animal are event masks, used to decorate temples and worn at special events - these masks would be made from cedar wood.
