Lower 6- Sports week

We have had a brilliant time this week taking part in National Sports Week. We have played hockey, table tennis, ultimate classroom frisbee, bat and ball games and we even took part in an egg and spoon race. We have also been doing lots of fun things in Maths and English lessons linked to sport. We had a brilliant drama lesson where the children acted out different parts of a football game, from that we have written fantastic sound poems titled '10 things heard on a match day'. In Maths we have been solving some tricky problems using the Premier League Table and 'match attack' maths cards. Well done to all the children for taking part so brilliantly and always trying their best! We are really looking forward to Sports Day next week, fingers crossed we get some good weather.
