How fantastic are Upper 4?

We are Kiera, Curtis and Thomas. We are the class bloggers this week. We will discuss some of the highlights of our week.

We have had a fun week in Upper 4. Our two favourite things this week were: indoor PE and going on ‘Hour of Code’ in Computing (https://code.org/learn) . We enjoyed Computing because it was nice being in our new Library and being able to share the iPads with our friends. We enjoyed our PE lesson because we were all moving around, working as a team and having fun. We all wanted to win!

This week we have been enjoying David Walliams’ books in Upper 4. They are Miss. Williams’ favourite books because they are so funny. During our Guided Reading sessions this week we have been looking at an extract from Demon Dentist. We have also been reading Mr. Stink because that is our class read. Lots of us are getting better at predicting what might happen next. This week Grace was fantastic at this.

This week Upper 4 enjoyed a musical performance by Thomas who has been practising on his guitar that much that he even got a blister!

Since September, we have been practising our times tables everyday by playing different games. This week Bailey was our champion (he could even answer questions involving the inverse).

Upper 4 were so proud of Curtis this week because he represented Plantation football team, who won the final at their football tournament.

Lastly, we are SO pleased as we have won the attendance trophy for a second week running!
