Colour mixing with paint

We did colour mixing with the paint too. Can you see which colours we used to make purple? The children were so excited blending the paints - watching the colours change, seeing the shades evolving. This is what some of them had to say about it....

"I mixed it all up with the brush. Its changing purple! it`s like magic!" RF

"It happens when you mix some red and blue, then it went to purple!" DT

"It`s gone actually funny to me - blue and red, it`s gone all purply! I`m mixing and blending it" AE

Challenge - Why not do some colour mixing at home too? Try new combinations eg red & yellow,  yellow & blue. See what colours you can make. Enjoy the fun!
