Lower 8 competition - Balancing
Date: 13th Dec 2017 @ 12:14pm
What fun we had on Friday! We created our own balancing competition for the 'Sports Celebration' day and it was very tricky! We set up the classroom with gymnastic mats so that it was safe to perform the balances. We then took part in the first round, which was to hold a one legged balance for 10 seconds. If you fell over then you were out, but lots of children managed to hold the balance and progress to the next round. As each round progressed, it got harder and harder and eventually we were down to the final two competitors: Alannah G and Niamh D-B. They were that good that Mr Sanders had to create a really difficult final round for them to take part in, and eventually Niamh outlasted Alannah to win the competition. Mr Sanders was very impressed by all of the children's efforts! Well done everyone!
