NOTICE OF BUILDING WORK AND SCHOOL REDEVELOPMENT 2023-2024
Please be advised that from July 2023 to September 2024 our school is undertaking significant building work and refurbishment.
ALL SCHOOL VISITORS MUST report to Reception and ensure their identification issued at the School Office is worn at all times.
ALL CONTRACTORS MUST ensure they are signed in at their Site Office and compound, known to the Site Manager, and the relevant identification worn at all times.
PARENTS & CARERS MUST ensure children are supervised at all times when in their care and ensure they do not stray from sight.

Lower 6- Homework information

Homework will be sent home on a Friday and should be returned by the following Friday. Maths homework will focus on basic number work and will be linked to what is being covered in class to give the children a chance to do some extra practice at home. English homework will usually be a reading comprehension, writing practice or grammar work and will again reinforce what is being covered in class.
The above homework will be sent most but not every week. Spellings and reading books will be sent every week. It would be great to see every child changing their reading book at least once a week.
A huge well done to all of the children who have been changing their reading books every week or more and to everyone who has been working hard learning spellings and completing the additonal Maths and English homework. It's fantastic to see and really helps!
