Descriptive writing in Upper 7

Date: 13th Oct 2016 @ 4:57pm

This week in Upper 7 we have been writing our own narrative called, 'The Unforgotten Headdress'. The children have been making great use of our descriptasaurus and creating some fantastic pieces of writing. Check out a few examples below.

Without thinking what could come from the shadows, Rowtag, with cold sweat dripping off him, opened the door. Blood from the meat was trailing into the forest. All of a sudden, two green, glowing eyes appeared and a threatening howl was released. - Matthew L

Out the corner of my eye I saw a figure, with long black shiny curls and brown curious eyes. On her head she wore a beautiful eagle-feathered Native American headdress. - Niamh
