Upper 6 - Week 3

Well time is certainly flying in Upper Six, welcome to our THIRD class blog!

We have really enjoyed the start of our new class read - The Unforgotten Coat (available on ebooks). It has been great to read a book based in Liverpool and lots of the issues being raised in the story are very relevant to us all - it's even based around a Year Six class and mentions Everton! All our class have engaged with the book and we look forward to more lessons in Literacy based around this fantastic read.

In Maths we have tried our hands at some really exciting Times Tables games and we are now hopng these will help us in the coming week with some multiplication problems. Also, well done to all our children who have moved on in their times table challenges this week - we already have some completed bronze sheets!

Congratulations to our Stars of the Week this week; Luke and Chloe - both thoroughly deserved after a really impressive week's work across all subjects. Well done!

Next week is sure to be eventful with our upcoming trip to Alton Towers. We can't wait!
