Upper 5's visit to Halewood Library

Our visit to Halewood Library

On Friday 7th October, Upper 5 went to visit Halewood Library and the class represented Plantation amazingly. We had a chat with one of the librarians who taught us that lots of great stories and movies started off as books; so to stay ahead of everyone we should read to discover the latest movies before they’re even filmed!

We were then taught how to register to be able to take books home. Some of our children even brought their library cards and were able to take some books away with them.

All children took away with them a registration form to become library members and have been told to pester parents/carers to fill it in so they can begin borrowing books.

The library was very kind to donate their time this morning and we are very grateful for this.
