Upper 4 meet para-sport athlete Lee Whiteley
Date: 25th Feb 2017 @ 2:36pm
What a wonderful week we have had in Upper 4. We enjoyed meeting Great Britain’s Paralympic sprinter Lee Whiteley. Lee specialises in the 100m and 200m sprint. He has Cerebral Palsy and managed to break the European record for the 100m and 200m sprint at the World Championships in Lyon in 2013. We were all inspired by Lee’s inspirational attitude. We were lucky enough to have Lee visit our classroom and answer our questions. Upper 4 then enjoyed taking part in a sponsored fitness circuit in the hall with Lee.
Just a reminder your child’s sponsorship money is due on or before Friday 3rd March.
