Our Week In Upper 6

Date: 26th Sep 2016 @ 8:44pm

Well done to our Stars of the Week this week; Ella, Amber and Harry M. Ella produced a brilliant maths hook this week (Hook of the Week in fact!) and Amber also excelled in Maths – scoring 40/40 in consecutive times tables tests! Harry M continued to have a great attitude in class, as well as a brilliant sense of humour (bonus points for nearly managing to give out a whole set of worksheets this week without forgetting anyone, too!)

We all enjoyed our first swimming session this week and, as expected, represented the school brilliantly while out and about in Halewood.

I was especially pleased with everybody’s attitude when attempting our new times tables award tests – especially those who have found themselves on their third bronze test after scoring maximum points in their first two attempts. Well done! Remember; head over to www.timestables.me.uk for practice – a great website.

We have also finished our SPAG fortnight in Literacy and now look forward to diving into our exciting new class read – The Unforgotten Coat.

Finally, congratulations to our new Reading Advocates – Daisy, Aaron and Chloe who I know will be brilliant in their roles, joining Ella and Adaobi who continue in their roles after starting in Year Five.
