Healthy Schools Bronze Award

Congratulations to Mrs Cook and all the children in school for their successful work in attaining the Healthy Schools Bronze Award!  Thank you to Lexie Groom who came to our school assemblies on Monday morning and afternoon to talk about the achievement and present our award.  We are continuing to work with Lexie and she will be in school more this term as she works with the children in Lower 1, 2 and 3 and with the children in Reception to look at healthy eating.  Lexie has also met with our PE & Sports Leader, Mr Sanders, to discuss plans for new sports and activity clubs for children at lunchtimes and also for children and parents after school - more news to follow in the near future.  Well done everyone for making a commitment to ensure our children have a healthy start to life and get habits right from a young age.
