French Club Week 2

Bonsoir!

We had another fantastic French club yesterday after school. The teachers were so impressed at how much the children remembered from the previous week.

This week we learnt how to say “Comment t’appelles tu?” (What’s your name?) and how to answer “Je m’appelle...” (My name is...). Again the children were fantastic and worked hard on good pronunciation.

We then revised numbers and had a tricky addition quiz for the children to complete on the SmartBoard.

Our new learning this week was French colours. We had a fun game of ‘Splat!’ to practise and then completed a colour by number worksheet in French.

Très bien tout le monde!

Thank you to parents as well for picking up from the Staff room door at 4.30pm. It was nice to have slightly longer to practise French before getting the children ready for home.
