Plantation Primary School'Love to learn, aspire to achieve'
First half term in Reception
Date: 14th Oct 2017 @ 4:57pm
This half term has been really busy. Children have settled well and are getting used to Reception routines and expectations. They have been having daily 'Maths Meetings' where they have learnt the days of the week song (to the tune of the Addams Family). Pupils have also taken part in phonics sessions every morning from 8.55am. First thing every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday they access wipe boards and pens to practise writing their names. Each Monday and Thursday they choose a new library book to take home. They have also been learning about how to access the outdoor classroom in the afternoons and have been getting to know children and staff in the other class. What a great start to the school year!
