Come and be a Bookworm

Date: 25th Sep 2016 @ 11:20pm

This week we have been very busy bookworms in Upper 7.

On Thursday afternoon we were very lucky to spend the afternoon in our amazing school library selecting an excting new book to take home. As you can see from the pictures below, the boys are definitely bookworms!

To help us become more familiar with our new Creative Curriculum topic, World War 2, we have started reading David Walliams', 'Grandpa's Great Escape'. So far everyone seems to be enjoying it, especially the parts about the different planes they used.

To end another great week, we had some little visitors in Upper 7, from Lower 7. Every Friday we will meet with a reading buddy from Miss Charnock's class and share our stories with one another. It was wonderful hearing everyone's expressive voices and helping each other out with tricky words.
