24.01.17 - Knowsley Boccia competition

Date: 25th Jan 2018 @ 8:03am

Mrs Dundon took five of our children to participate in a Boccia competition at Altbridge school. Boccia is a target sport played indoors with small, leather balls and the rules of the sport are similar to bowls. We played four matches against other schools in Knowsley and Mrs Dundon was very pleased with the children's sportsmanship and resillience when participating in the matches. The children didn't progress past the group stages, yet they had a great morning trying a new sport.

We would like to thank Mrs Dundon for volunteering her time to take the children to this competition. We would also like to thank Mr Peel for volunteering his time to drive the mini bus to and from the competition.
