23.05.18 - Y4 EFC Finch Farm Finals
Date: 23rd May 2018 @ 4:11pm
Our Y4 Football team went to Finch Farm to take part in the EFC finals on Wednesday afternoon. All of the boys played fantastically well and the football that they played was beyond their years! We sailed through the first three games, scoring comfortably and not conceding any goals. Our final game against St Annes was a tougher affair though, and one strike from St Annes proved to be crucial as they beat us 1-0 and progressed through to the final as a result. However, I was very proud of how the boys played today and I think in the long term, experiencing defeat will make them even more determined to win next time.
I would like to thank Mr Green for volunteering his time for training sessions and for the competition.Without him, we would not have been as competitive as we were!
