13.11.17 - New Age Kurling Competition - written by Mrs Dundon
Date: 16th Nov 2017 @ 8:24am
Today, we took some of our children to a New Age Kurling competition. New Age Kurling is an adaptation of the Winter Olympic Sport 'Kurling', whereby large stones are pushed towards a target. Eight schools were in attendance at the competition. We won the first two matches 7-0, third match 6-1 and came first in our group. This meant that we progressed through to the semi-finals but were beaten 4-1. All of the children behaved amazingly and had great fun! Nearly every stone we pushed landed on the target!
We would like to thank Mrs Dundon, Mrs Skeggs and Mr Peel for volunteering their time to take the children to this competition. Without them, our children would not have been able to attend this competiton.
